What exactly are in-transit vehicles?

In-Ttansit vehicles are brand-new models coming straight from the factory to our dealership. Because of the travel time, we keep them on a list and monitor their progress as they make their way to our dealership. There wasn't a need to share the list with customers in the past, but in the present era of chronic shortages, we've opened this list to you so you can reserve the one you want before it arrives.

Skip the showroom and get your preferred vehicle sooner

While there are obvious benefits in having lots of vehicles in stock along with a showroom to see them, there are plenty of benefits in reserving an in-transit vehicle. Instead of waiting for a vehicle that may not even be built yet, you can scan the list and find another excellent option that's already on its way. We can keep you updated on your vehicle's progress, so you can eliminate the uncertainty. When the vehicle arrives, you can still test drive it and you're under no obligation to keep it if it's not everything you wanted.

Some dealers offer only a handful of in-transit vehicles: We offer dozens

Our selection is better than you might find elsewhere around Springfield or Philadelphia PA, so your chances are better in terms of finding your ideal next car, truck or SUV. Just search our in-transit list, do some research on your own and allow us to answer any questions. You can get many advantages of the bigger selections of the past along with the improved speed and greater certainty of reserving an in-transit model.

An example of what you might find: The GMC Sierra 1500 Denali

The Denali is one of the best trims you can get in a new GMC Sierra 1500 pickup, which happens to be one of the four best-selling full-size trucks in America. We offered one with a 6.2-liter V8 engine that came with 420 horsepower and was capable of towing as much as 8,900 pounds. It had a big 13.4-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration.

Another example: A new GMC Acadia SUV

This mid-size SUV is the most popular SUV that GMC makes. It gives you a smooth ride and comfortable seating in both the first and second rows. We had an in-transit model that ran with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that would give you 310 horsepower. It can seat up to seven passengers across its three rows. It had a diagonal 8-inch infotainment touch screen along with wireless smartphone compatibility for both Apple and Android.

Another example: A new Buick Encore GX

The Buick Encore GX is Buick's best-selling SUV. If you had put your name on this model, when it arrived you would have been rolling with an efficient 1.3-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 155 horsepower and the extra traction of all-wheel drive. The touch screen would have been 8 inches and you'd have wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. Fuel economy would have been a money-saving 26 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway.
